Junior High Spiritual Life

Maranatha Christian Junior High fosters spiritual growth through a multitude of sources. It starts with teachers who are all believers and take each child’s spiritual development personal as they interact with students on a daily basis. The JH curriculum is a Christian based, with scripture and Biblical principles embedded into textbooks, workbooks and day to day activities. All JH students complete a separate, dedicated Bible Class each year in addition to attending weekly chapels and participating in community service opportunities. Every Spring students participate in a grade specific class trip… 6th grade attends a science based trip to Big Bear, 7th grade spends a week on a street ministry/missions trip, and 8th grade travels to the east coast where they see firsthand how our country was founded upon Christian values and why “One Nation Under God” is true. Finally, and most importantly, all of our students are immersed in the Christian Community made up of parents, students, and staff that we call Maranatha Christian Schools.
